MLINPEK
EXPO
was
opened
by
Assistant
Minister
of
Agriculture
Nenad
Katanić,
who
pointed
out
that
participants
from
Serbia
and
Europe
exhibited
state-of-the-art
equipment
for
the
baking
and
milling
industry,
and
that
this
event
is
a
great
opportun

ity
to
see
what
is
being
offered
in
those
areas.
Pointing
out
that
Serbia
is
a
leader
in
cereal
production
in
the
Balkans,
Katanić
said
it
was
necessary
to
modernize
and
improve
primary agricultural production.
-
Without
quality
raw
material,
there
is
no
quality
final
product,
which
is
why
it
is
very
important
that
sown,
certified,
seed
is
sown
in
our
fields
because
it
has
a
positive
effect
on
the
quality
of
primary
production
and
processing.
Processors
must
also
be
aware
of
this,
which
should
motivate
primary
producers
to
sow
certified
seed
as
this
contributes
to
higher
product
quality
and
better
placement
in
both
the
domestic
and
foreign
markets
-
said
Katanić.

In

The

assessed
that
the

at
the

attracted
the
attention
of

audiences
as
well
as
a
large
number
of
those
interested
in
starting
their
own
bakery
and
confectionery
business,
which
confirmed
that
these
activities
are
increasingly
developing.
Coming
to
this
event
was
also
a
great
opportunity
to
buy
machines
and
equipment
at
affordable
prices,
as
many
exhibitors
approved
a
trade
discount
of
over
30
percent,
which
is
without
doubt
a
significant
savings
and
support
in
the
work.
Pointing
out
that
an
event
like
the
MLINPEK
EXPO
is
needed
in
the
domestic
market
because
it
is
unique
in
Serbia
and
provides
insight
into
the
latest
developments
in
this
field,
the
exhibitors
emphasized
that
it
is
a
continuation
of
meetings
and
gatherings
of
people
from the profession organized by Mlinpek Zavod for more than two decades.
We are keeping up with
the standards
Of the European Union
At
the
opening
of
the
MLINPEK
EXPO,
Advisor
to
the
Minister
for
European
Integration,
Danilo
Golubovic,
emphasized
that
the
domestic
agro-
food
industry
has
caught
up
with
the
standards
in
force
in
the
European
Union.
According
to
him,
in
the
process
of
Serbia's
accession
to
the
EU,
domestic
regulations
are
harmonized
with
those
that
apply
in
it,
which
gives
our
country
a
chance
to
ensure
the
quality
of
products
and
their competitiveness.
-
Products
from
Serbia
have
long
been
in
the
EU
markets
and
I
am
sure
that
when
we
are
an
EU
member,
our
products
will
be
on
par
with
those
produced
by
European
companies.
We
will
strive
to
provide
domestic
producers
with
access
to
EU
money,
enabling
them
to
more
easily adopt increasingly demanding standards.
